Ingredients
For the Chicken Steam:
- 500g boneless chicken breast or thighs
- 1 ½ cup coconut water
- 2 lemongrass stalks (lightly crushed)
- 3 kaffir lime leaves (or zest of 1 lime)
- 1-inch ginger (sliced)
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp white pepper
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
For the Herb Butter Glaze:
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tbsp fresh basil (finely chopped)
- ½ tbsp honey
- 1 tsp lemon juice
For Garnish:
- Fresh coriander or basil leaves
- Lime wedges
- A pinch of sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken
Rub chicken with salt, white pepper, and soy sauce. Let it rest for 10 minutes. - Prepare the Aromatic Steam
